Basically, the secret to the success of muscle and pony cars during the early 60s and 70s is the engine power added with the models’ compact and robust built. At the time, there is just nothing better to compare these cars with, because they have both the muscle and the beauty perfected in a single unit that stands above the rest—not until the birth of the youth-oriented cars in the 1970s.
In response to these new models, classic car manufacturers have created budget versions of the muscle and pony units, including the Benz and Jaguar which have always been one of the highest-priced cars until the end of this period.
